"Yup!  That's me, the stylin' granny mama!"

The seed for Stylin' Granny Mama was planted in Racine, Wisconsin while visiting my husband's family several years ago. One morning after getting dressed in a fairly fashionable outfit, that included knee high boots and a camel colored leather cross body bag my younger adult daughter said, "Wow Mom! You're really stylin'."

My rapid-fire response was, "Yup! That's me, the stylin' granny mama!"

Little did I know that seed would grow into a fully developed idea. Never in a million years did I see myself as a fashion blogger, but here I am. That is the funny thing about this journey we call life, you never know where you might end up and who you will meet along the way.

I grew up a tomboy with two older brothers, just outside a small town in western New York. I went to Bible school in Chicago and met my Danish husband on an Ojibwa reservation in northern, Wisconsin. We currently reside in Ohio. I have two grown daughters, a grandson, a son-in-law, two grand kitties and two grand puppies. I work part time as an assistant manager of a local university bookstore, but my pipe dream is to be able to make a living as an author. In the mean time, I’ll play with clothes and talk about things like belief, struggles and joy.

I hope you’ll join me.
