Friends come in all shapes and sizes. As we age friendships become much more solid and meaningful. Many of us find friendships with our high school pals, spouses, family members and people we have grown to love in our churches and communities.
Some of you may wonder why bother having a page only focused on friendships. Each of my pages are set up because they are important to me; they are part of my layers. Over the course of my life I have had friends come and go, but the ones that have been with me the longest are the ones I am blessed to call sisters. Not sisters in the blood sense, but in the spiritual and emotional sense. I didn't have any sisters growing up, so having women in my life now, who I can be honest with, even at my lowest, are truly my friends. I hope at different points to talk them into letting my daughter photograph them, to show you how truly beautiful they are.
I would like you to feel like you have a good friend when you come to this blog...someone you can hang out with enjoying the ups and downs of this journey called life; someone to explore the complex layers of yourself and your world.
